OneDrive is Microsoft’s online file storage platform that synchronizes your content across all your devices and allows you to share and collaborate on files with other people. Every employee has their own OneDrive “folder” included with their Office 365 account, and it is the preferred method for saving, sharing, and collaborating on Office documents. Other files can be uploaded to OneDrive as well – it is not restricted to Microsoft file types – though the ability to collaborate on documents in real-time is restricted to Word, Excel and PowerPoint files only.
